We all want to be organized, but sometimes it is hard to get started! Here are 3 things to start with:
- Purge your files
Grab and empty box and put all of last years (and earlier) bills in it. Nowadays, almost any record you need can be found online. If the payments have cleared, why keep all that paper? Take the box to Staples and have it all shredded. https:// https://www.staples.com/sbd/cre/products/copy-and-print/160509/54368/index.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiA68bhBRCKARIsABYUGidjbEu__OfGid4A-qiZGmyGPyJ3VRmTFwqD3mfUGgzTLY5AD_XcADkaAjrhEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds - Clean out the first drawer you contact each day.
If I open my make up drawer, that’s the one I clean out before the day is done. Take everything out, clean the surfaces, sort and purge, and put back in. Do a new drawer every day. Then move on to cabinets. - Look around the room you are in.
What have you not touched in a year? What have you never liked but felt like you had to keep? Removing and item or two from each room each week can yield some big results. Always keep a box for donations, and always be adding to it!
