This Condo was purchased as a 1 year transition for a bachelor between dream homes.
With that in mind, changes were made with an eye to using purchased items in a future home, but purchasing on a budget.
Using the exhisting wall paneling as an inspiration, we created a subtle nautical feel in the bedroom, but kept the pieces and bedding un-themed so that they could be reused in future bedroom designs down the road.
We chose a printed bedding set with a duvet cover and pillow cases, then stacked three shams in a coordinating tone against the upholstered headboard and finished the look with a simple navy toss pillow. All of these bedding elements will transition easily into other bedrooms along the way and could be dressed up or down with a bolster, a coverlet or quilt, or a bold sheet set pulled down to be visible when made.
